Oracle Validated Configuration Based on FlashGrid Storage Fabric

Oracle Linux validation lab completed validation of a cluster configuration based on FlashGrid Storage Fabric. The validation is done using Oracle Linux Test (OLT) kit consisting of 55 tests with total duration of more than 100 hours.
Validation tests
- Oracle Database installation: single-instance and RAC
- System verification tests
- Functional tests
- Stress tests: single-instance and RAC, OLTP and DSS workloads
- RAC destructive tests: injection of ASM, CRS, database, network, and storage failures under OLTP load
Validated configuration details
- (2) HPE ProLiant 380p Gen9 servers
- Intel NVMe SSDs P3700 (primary storage for data managed by FlashGrid Storage Fabric)
- HP 3PAR StoreServ 7400 used for OCR/Vote disk group
- Oracle Linux 7 Update 3
- Oracle Database 12c Release 1, Single Instance and Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) for Linux x86-64
- FlashGrid Storage Fabric 17.01
